Is today’s generation of young people in crisis?  Something of a no-brainer.  One only has to look at what young people are up against today to see the future looks extremely bleak.  Austerity has not made matters any better but far worse.  This writer doesn’t think Brexit will make things any better either. Is it any wonder thousands of 18 to 30 year olds polled were found to be lacking self-confidence.  Once Society starts thinking about tomorrow rather than solely living for today will we see any change.  But don’t hold your breath waiting for that to happen any time soon.

It is always easy to say “It’s easier to conform and shut up” and complain about how sexist the film industry.  I would have said Gemma Arterton  would have little to complain about given how well her career was going either side of her role in the Bond flick ‘Quantum of Solace.  Sometimes when you are on to a good thing, it is better to keep your head down, take the job, take the money and just shut up.  The last thing struggling actors want to hear is some well-paid fellow thespian complaining about their lot.

The best comedy show on TV would be the US Presidential Election if it wasn’t for the fact it is factual, real, with two bad candidates running for the highest office in the land of USA.  One marginally competent, the other a narcissistic, raving lunatic.  I am sure the latter isn’t a raving lunatic but I do hope he doesn’t believe half the things he says.  Roll on the final countdown come November US Presidential Election.

That said:-

There is plenty more to see, read, and watch domestically and internationally throughout this edition of Digital World Wired.
